It sits at the end of an adventure-lover’s drive up a hill that overlooks all of Tamarindo, and offers a 300 degree panoramic view of Tamarindo Bay and the rolling green hills of Guanacaste. A refreshing ocean breeze through Puesta del Sol adds to the amazement and helps create the sensation of floating in the sky. Enormous windows throughout the property create a one-with-nature experience and allow you uninterrupted enjoyment of the tropical surroundings during your vacation.
This spectacular property is comprised of 7 independent structures, 6 of which are villa-style rooms (each with its own bathroom, private porch, and sitting area) and 1 of which is a stunning common area. 4 of the separate villas are furnished with king sized beds and offer a view of the Pacific horizon to the west. Two villas, with two queen beds, face east overlooking the jungle-covered hills.
Puesta del Sol’s grand salon is lined on three sides with sliding glass doors which you can open to the sea and mountain breezes or close to enjoy the air conditioning. Puesta del Sol is air conditioned, has wi-fi, multi-language television service and smart security. Comfortable couches invite you to relax in Puesta del Sol’s grand salon and a unique wood dining table milled from a single giant tree is where you and your family and friends will enjoy meals together. A full bar area in this part of the home hosts your parties with wine and bar refrigerators, fully stocked glassware cabinets and lots of space for preparing your favorite cocktails.
The kitchen at Puesta del Sol is especially designed for catering gourmet meals to a full house. It is set apart from the bar and living area, placing everything in a convenient space that facilitates ease and efficiency. Breakfast preparation is included (except Sundays and Holidays) when you reserve Puesta del Sol for your vacation, all you have to do is supply the groceries and then sit back, relax and enjoy fresh coffee, fruits, juice and more. Additional chef services can also be reserved for you by our concierge at your request.
An eloquent common space spans the front side of Puesta del Sol where you can bask on the comfortable poolside loungers, submerge yourself in the pristine infinity pool, sip something chilly on the tanning ledge or relax in the bubbling whirlpool.
